The band's joint Christmas concert with the Massanutten Brass Band was a huge success. The combined effort raised over $2000 for the Harrisonburg Salvation Army. Both bands performed to an audience of well over 450 and received a standing ovation at the conclusion of the concert after performing Leroy Anderson's "A Christmas Festival" with massed bands. After a break for the holidays, the band will begin preparing for a concert to be shared with the internationally recognized James Madison University Brass Band.
